Growing up in the Peak District Liam began his musical training at the age of 8, spending the following years learning in the classical traditions of piano as well as exploring the possibilities that lie in improvised music and collaboration.

By the time he graduated with a BMus degree from The University of Birmingham, Liam was already heavily involved in performing, writing and recording music across the UK, and has been working as a professional in the industry now for over 15 years.
